I understand, acknowledge, and agree:

-- I received access to the UCP of Sacramento & Northern California Team Member Handbook (the “Employee Handbook”) through UCP Connect, including the “Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation Prevention” policy. I have also received the California pamphlet entitled “Sexual Harassment.”

-- I have read and understand I am responsible for complying with the contents of the Employee Handbook.

-- I understand and consent to the Company reasonably communicating with me using my personal contact information (e.g., phone calls, emails, text messages) that I provided to UCP.

-- My employment with the Company is for an unspecified term and may be terminated at the will of either the Company or myself, with or without a reason, and with or without notice.

-- No words or actions of the Company will be deemed to create an express or implied contract of employment or require the Company to have good cause for terminating my employment. No Company representative is empowered or authorized to modify this at-will relationship other than the President/CEO and then only in an express written agreement signed by the President/CEO.

-- Any rules, policies, or benefits described in the Employee Handbook may be modified or varied from by the Company at any time–except as required by law and except for the rights of the Company and me to terminate employment at will (which may be modified only by an express written agreement signed by the CEO/President).
